In accordance with Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares, the "Law") and its Regulations, Meridian 33° Travel ("Meridian 33°", "we") makes this Privacy Notice available to you regarding the processing of your personal data.

Depending on the service you request, we may collect:
Identification and contact data: first and last name, email address,
phone/WhatsApp number, country of residence.
Trip-related data: tentative dates, number of travelers, destination of
interest, who you're traveling with (family, couple, group, solo traveler), approximate
budget, and — when necessary to arrange flight, accommodation or border-crossing bookings —
passport details, nationality and date of birth.
Preferences: preferred travel season, special occasion, and any other
information you share with us to personalize your itinerary.
Meridian 33° does not process or store payment card data. Any payment transaction is carried out directly through the payment platform or the relevant tour operator, subject to its own privacy notice.
To design and operate your itinerary safely, we may on occasion request data the Law considers sensitive, such as dietary restrictions, allergies, or health conditions relevant to the trip (for example, reduced mobility or medical requirements during a safari). This type of data is collected only with your express consent, is used exclusively to coordinate your experience with our destination suppliers, and is not used for any other purpose.
Primary purposes (necessary to provide the service you request):
Quoting, designing, booking and operating your travel experience; providing concierge service before, during and after the trip; contacting you to follow up on your request; and fulfilling legal, accounting and tax obligations arising from the business relationship.
Secondary purposes (not essential, but that let us serve you better):
Sending you our monthly newsletter with editorial content and travel inspiration; inviting you to new experiences or seasons; and, with your authorization, showing you personalized marketing communications. You may object to these secondary purposes at any time without affecting the travel service you've already booked — see section 7.
To operate your trip, it's necessary to share certain information with third parties directly involved in providing the service: wholesale tour operators, airlines, hotels and lodges, and ground transportation providers at destination. These transfers are limited to the data strictly necessary for the booking (for example, full name and passport details for a flight ticket).
Meridian 33° does not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes unrelated to our operations.
Under Mexican data protection law, you have the right to Access your personal data, Rectify it if inaccurate, Cancel it when you consider it no longer necessary for the purposes stated here, or Object to its use for specific purposes (ARCO rights, from the Spanish Acceso, Rectificación, Cancelación, Oposición). To exercise these rights, send your request to hola@meridian33.travel indicating: (i) your full name, (ii) the personal data over which you wish to exercise the right, and (iii) any documentation supporting your request. We will respond within the timeframes established by the Law.
You can stop receiving our newsletter at any time via the "Edit preferences" link at the bottom of every email, or by writing to us directly at hola@meridian33.travel with the subject line "Unsubscribe from newsletter."
Our site uses first-party and third-party cookies for: (i) essential cookies, necessary for the site to function correctly (for example, remembering that you've already accepted this notice); and (ii) analytics and marketing cookies, which help us understand how the site is used and measure the performance of our campaigns (for example, HubSpot and product analytics tools). The latter are only activated if you give your consent via the banner that appears when you enter the site.
